IIS " the process can not access the file because the file is being used by another process"
I am using IIS to publish share point/ OWA and it recently stopped working. I went into IIS and try to restart the sitee and I get " the process can not access the file because the file is being used by another process" I ran "netstat -ano to see if the
was another process that was using the port but there was nothing there for port 80 or 442. I went into the register to see it the listenonly key was there but it is not. I have check the web to see if there is anthing else that I can try but have not found
anthisg that fixes the problem. Please help.Gregory Gavin

I would suggest a reboot to clean what has ahold of your file, make sure anitivrus programs are not real time scanning your web directories, they tend to be the culprits.:P Advice offered, If you need more help it is advised to seek the council and advice of paid professionals. The answer is always 42, or reboot.

If port 80 is not being used, you must then examine the ListenOnlyList registry subkey on the computer that is running IIS.
